SJA Batch 1978: A Replay

Today, March 10, 2012, is going to be another great day for the people who have been making their contributions to Ibaan in different ways. This is going to another day when Saint James Academy alumni will again see each other to share, stories, food, music and fun among them. And yes, today will be the day for the alumni to take a walk back in time some 34 years ago.

Saint James Academy Batch 1978 is again going to have a reunion dubbed as "A REPLAY: Get Together Of SJA Batch '78", at Villa Gracia Private Resort in Brgy. San Agustin, Batangas. The group will assemble at the venue starting 3:00pm in the afternoon.

Just a little trivia. Saint James Academy Batch 1978 can be considered as one the most successful batch of graduates having two of them as Mayor of Municipality of Ibaan. That includes Mayor Juan Danny Valencia Toreja, who incidentally is Ibaan's current Munipal Mayor, and former Mayor William Chua. Also, it is also from this batch that a couple of Municipal Councilors came. To name a few, there's Coun. Rodel de Castro and former Coun. Redentor Banawa. Of course, they also have doctors, businessmen and other professionals in different field of industry.

It is to be remembered that last December 2011, the batch had their first reunion at Fr. Guido Gym, SJA. However, there were some who failed to join the fun. This time, as requested by one of their batchmate Tony De Castro, the owner of Villa Gracia Private Resort, a "replay" of the reunion is about to commence. And everyone in the batch is looking forward to it.
